Origins

Born and raised in Moldova, Victoria draws deep inspiration from the rich traditions of her homeland. Her art reflects the textures and colors of Moldova’s cultural heritage, weaving together the stories and memories that have shaped her life. A significant influence in her work is an old handwoven wool carpet from her grandparents' home, that is over a century old. It features two deer in the forest, framed by traditional rose patterns. This treasured piece has hung on the same wall for generations, through the lives of her grandparents, her parents, and her own childhood. The warmth and memories it holds continue to inspire the textures, patterns, and colors in her art, grounding each piece in the beauty of her heritage.
