Red cherries

As a child I used to spend my summers in the countryside with my grandparents. There was a big garden around the house with various fruit trees. One of my favourites was a huge cherry tree. 

In the early summer when the cherries were ready to be picked the whole family would get together to indulge in the sweet and juicy fruits, and also collect and make compote and jam for winter. This was a great family time that I still enjoy when I visit Moldova in the early summer.
