Stylised rose painting.
I spent my student years in the capital of Moldova - Chisinau.
Our capital has wide boulevards, many historical buildings as well as parks and squares flooded with greenery.
Traditionally, roses were planted to decorate all the main squares, in front of goverment buildings, theaters and along big boulevards.
We even have a park called 'The Valley of Roses'. In the 1950's entire rose plantations were planted in south east part of Chisinau, which grew to be a big park in present, with several lakes and thousands of the capital residents participated in the creation of it.
One of my memories as a student is cozy summer evenings and the smell of roses that caries everywhere, creating a special atmosphere in the capital.
