To Be or Not ...
To Be or Not ...
In this painting, I wanted to capture an intense, thought-provoking confrontation. The two figures, inspired by classical sculptures, are locked in a silent dialogue, searching for answers yet uncertain of the questions themselves. Their solemn expressions reflect the tension between past ideals and present uncertainties. In a world where choices and identities feel fluid, are they seeking understanding or challenging each other? Are they mirrors or opposites?
The phrase “To be or not to be” deepens this ambiguity, turning the space between them into the essence of doubt. It’s a reflection of modern life—where clarity is elusive, and existence itself feels like a question rather than an answer.
